Week 2 shopping list :
FRUITS:
2 avocados
5 bananas
16 ounces blueberries
3 kiwis
4 mangos
4 peaches
2 pears
6-8 oranges
VEGGIES:
2 small bags spinach, fresh (10-16 ounces)
1 small bag kale, fresh (10-16 ounces)
1 cup fresh pumpkin puree (the original recipe calls for 1 can of pumpkin puree but I’m not too fond of canned puree)
OTHER:
Almond milk, unsweetened
Coconut milk, unsweetened
OPTIONAL (yet recommended!):
Chia Seeds –> order on iherb or Amazon
Pumpkin spice
Pure vanilla extract
Day 7 Green Smoothie recipe:
1 ½ cups spinach, fresh
¼ cup almond or coconut milk, unsweetened
½ cup banana
2 cups peaches
1 cup water or as needed.
This is actually a recipe for a green smoothie popsicle so if you’d like to freeze it into a popsicle use ½ cup spinach and no water, blend and pour into a popsicle mold. I increased the spinach and added water for the smoothie consistency.
